Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability (GSMR) and University of Bahrain Engineering organize “Preparing for a Bright Industrial Tomorrow” event

Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Sheikha Haifa bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability (GSMR) in cooperation with the College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain organized an event entitled “Preparing for a Bright Industrial Tomorrow” presented by Eng. Hussein Al Ali, Head of the Training and Qualification Committee at the Society.
This event was attended by a large number of students from different departments of the college, and they interacted with the topic of the event. The event was useful for advancing the concept of maintenance, reliability and asset management among university students. Dr. Mohammed bin Shams, Head of the Chemical Engineering Department at the College of Engineering at the university, presented a certificate of appreciation and pride to Engineer Hussein Al-Ali, Head of the Training and Qualification Committee in the society, for his efforts in making this event a success.
For his part, Eng. Saad bin Ibrahim Al Shamrani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability, stated “After the encouragement and support of the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Bahrain, Dr. Shaikha Haifa bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, we at GSMR are determined to organize more events that address the fields of maintenance, reliability and asset management with the aim of developing and supporting frameworks of mutual understanding in the comprehensive practical and educational fields for both parties to enhance relations between them to activate and develop expertise in the areas of joint cooperation in order to achieve the desired goals for both a prestigious university such as the University of Bahrain and the Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability. He praised the efforts made by the College of Engineering that contributed to achieving the distinguished success of this event.
