Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability reviews its future strategy
Al Shamrani: Supporting human cadres in the maintenance, reliability and asset management sector in the Gulf region and creating strong strategic partnerships with educational institutions, technical institutes and bodies
The Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability held a special workshop to discuss its “Future Strategy” in the Kingdom of Bahrain, thirteen years after its establishment.
The workshop program included reviewing the recommendations of the previous workshop and addressing the needs of the Gulf engineering labor market in terms of maintenance, reliability and asset management.
The vision and mission of the society were also reviewed, and it was recommended to establish partnerships with engineering society’s similar in specialization and objectives.
The workshop was managed by Eng. Saad Al Shamrani, Chairman of the society, and Eng. Mahmood Mirza, Vice Chairman of the society. The workshop was attended by the heads of committees in the Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability.
It resulted in an ambitious roadmap to achieve 6 main objectives, all of which revolve around developing and supporting human cadres in maintenance, reliability and asset management in the Gulf region, and creating strategic partnerships with educational institutions, technical institutes, government and private bodies and companies.
